I am a family man, first and foremost. My wife's name is Maria; she is my very best friend, and I feel very lucky to have her as my companion. We have one daughter, Marisa, who becomes more adorable every day. The photograph on the left is a portrait of our family in December 2007. (For those interested, Maria's brother has put together a nice website about their family history.)
I work as a computer science teacher at Brigham Young University–Hawaii in Laie, Hawaii (island of Oahu). You're welcome to have a look at my Research page for a smattering of my projects both past and present. You can contact me via “gmd2 AT byuh DOT edu”
My two favorite hobbies are writing video games and drawing cartoons. For samples of my work, please refer to my Games, Stories, and Cartoons pages.
I am a practicing member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Please check out the Church-related links below for more information.
But enough about me. Since you're here, though, feel free browse around my site and see what you find. And I do wish you a pleasant stay.
